Watch how your support flows

How Points Work: By Example

1 Support

Alex supports the system with $10 each month. Over time, In a Moon keeps track of the people who help Alex out, something we call kudos.

2 Give

Alex gives kudos to Riley and Sam for work they value. Those kudos decide how Alex's points are distributed that cycle.

3 Grow

When others give Riley kudos too, Riley's points grow, and can be given to others, used for In a Moon extras, or possibly cashed out.

FAQ

How much does this cost?

You choose your level of support per lunar cycle (or "moon")

For example:

  • Tier 1 is $5 per moon
  • Tier 2 is $10 per moon
  • Higher levels if you want stronger impact and to unlock more Tiers

A cycle is about 29.5 days. You can stop before the next moon begins.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes.

You can pause before the next cycle starts. There are no long-term contracts.

Each cycle stands on its own.

Is this a subscription?

Not in the traditional sense.

You're not paying for access to software or building up a balance. You're choosing to participate in a recurring funding cycle.

At the end of each cycle, funds are distributed automatically.

Why would I want to participate?

Because your attention already shapes the web.

In a Moon lets your financial support follow your activity — automatically and proportionally.

Instead of ads deciding what survives, participation helps align funding with what you actually value.
